Store Events

Our calendar is a whirlwind of activities this month
(March 2010)! Here's a breakdown of what's happening:

- A Puppy Mill Ballot Initiative Representative will be at the store March 6th and March
20th
to collect signatures between 12-3. In brief, the initiative – if approved – would
require large-scale breeding operations to provide each dog under their care with
sufficient food, clean water, space, and veterinary care. It would prohibit any breeder
from having more than 50 breeding dogs. It would also create a misdemeanor crime of
“puppy mill cruelty” for any violations.

-
Saturday, March 6th (10:30am-3:00pm) - Girl Scout Cookies. 'Nuff said.

-
Also March 6th -- there will be a food demo put on by Rotations Pet Food from 11-
3pm. Get more info about this rotational feeding diet.

- On
March 13th between 11-2pm, the Wildlife Center of Missouri will have some
representatives come down to the store to explain what they do, and about their wildlife
rescue and refuge efforts.

- Have a cat question that's been burning on your mind? Come by the store
Sunday,
March 14th from 11-1pm

. Call or come in to sign up, because space is limited. She will cover questions
regarding harmful cleaning products, seniors, behavioral, and general cat questions. This
event is free, just make sure you sign up by March 8th!
